I mean why not? 

It has everything you could ever need in all one place, and I can save it, then it links back to its orig source and all without taking up space or cluttering my computer. 

NICE. 

In honor of that I'm gonna do postings every once in a while of my favorite interest finds!

I got my first pair earlier this year, and for some reason although I got the black ones I find it hard to put them together with an outfit.

BUT these are totally my thing.

I believe because they are slightly dressy, but vintage they can look great with just about anything I wear.

So I have been Eye-ing this pallet by our house for days.

They have been putting up nature walking trails all around our house and building houses 

And so a lot of these are just laying around our neighborhood.

I know I want one.

But overtime I pass it I size myself up to it wondering how rediculous I might look trying to lift it

Or if someone will walk up on me while trying to lift it and give me that weird 

"what are you doing?!" stink eye

But now I have a real reason to try to grab it.
We'll see how that goes!

I plan on painting mine though. 

And then sanding it down and making it look vintage.

I think the natural look like shown above is better for a country styled home.

It's Been A Long Time

Anyway! It has been SO long since I last wrote. 

What have I been doing ?

Well...

Today was Brynlee's last swim lesson! It was so much fun, but the water was starting to get a little to cold for this momma. 

We had a scare with my mom. Thinking that she had another heart attack. 

Turns out she's fine and maybe just something cause from anxiety. 

But needless to say I'm still pushing the no smoking thing on her. 

Thats a whole other story. 

We picked out our wedding invitations! 

Thanks to the help and referrals to a wonderful person who helped creat my perfect invite!

Yay!

I have become a pinterest addict. 

As if Facebook hasn't sucked away enough of my brain cells. 

We went to one of our friend's and Dalton's co-workers weddings. 

Which he is in our wedding as well too. 

Brynlee went with us this time and LOVED it. 

She danced the night away

Bible study with the ladies every Tuesday has been in the mix as well.

Its my chicken soup for the soul 

And Dalton meets with the guys there as well

Thursday's I take Brynlee to a story time at the library.

I've made pointless trips in search of wedding stuff with no luck. 

This past weekend I got to take "coulpes pictures"

Of my friend Cody and his girlfriend 

Which was actually a surprise proposal shoot. 

THAT was way fun! 

I'll post the pics after they have seen them.

Super Saver Wannabe

I came across a wonderful website!

Im seriously dissecting this thing. 

Her latest influence is her couponing. 

She has inspired me by spending ONLY $250/month for a family of 6!

Really?!?! Come on! 

So here I am mother of one fiancé of one and I spend roughly $400/month. 

Really Ashley? Fail. 

So I am proud to announce that I am now a part of the "I carry a folder (but mine is super cute) to the grocery store" club. 

I was sitting on the bed last night re-arranging while Dalton was working on something and I said to him "Two years ago I would have never guessed I'd be organizing a coupon folder" and he quickly replied "Two years ago I would have never imagined driving a blue prius" 

Touche babe. You win. Ha ha 

And tomorrow I am presale-ing a city wide consignment for baby clothes. 

You know what though. Even though none of this is even necessary. I LOVE saving money. 

I mean, why pay more for something when you KNOW it can be much cheaper?

I think of it as...Even if I save $10 thats an extra $10 towards a haircut, or a cellphone bill, or into a savings. So why not?

So earlier I had posted that I took Dalton to the Cowboys game for his Birthday.

So funny because we had a great time but by 10pm we were so tired and ready for bed that when the Cowboys weren't doing quite so well we were like "Okay bedtime!" 

Thats what parenting and a long work week will do to ya!

Brynlee's First Day In Her New Class

On August 21, 2011 Brynlee got moved up into her new class! 

Yes I'm the mom who WILL take a pic of their child on the first day of her new Sunday School class. 

I know it's only Sunday, but I think it'll be neat to look back on.

This was her first craft to make ever!!!

Her teacher said she did so great with the glue stick! 

Can I tell you that when she handed this to me I about broke down!
